MOVE THE HOUSE APARTMENTS
The design for this new four-story mixed use building in Southeast Portland allows for the relocation of an existing traditional Portland, four-square house that originally occupied the site as well as saving several existing mature trees. Rather than building to the maximum allowable area, the smaller footprint creates a street-facing plaza that extends into the building. This active street presence encourages activity and motion as well as a vibrant retail community. Construction is scheduled for completion in June, 2010.
